My favorite glass is the veiled gaffer and dichroic. Veiled gaffer has wispy threads of color running through out each bead you make with it. Kind of a two toned glass that melts into wonderful swirls of color. Of course dichroic is your “glitter glass”  Add a cubic zirconia and you have beads fit for a diva.

I use many different techniques and materials to make jewelry: rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings. Some pieces are wire wrapped, utilizing both sterling silver and copper wire, along with lamp work beads, old trade beads, found objects and semi precious stones. Other pieces are made from copper, silver or brass sheet, hammer textured and oxidized; some with handmade rivets. I fuse a lot of fine silver wire of different gauges for various pieces, and also make my own charms and pendants from precious metal clay. I create jewelry for the modern woman, who is confident, and expresses her confidence in the jewelry she wears. Jewelry that is never trendy, but modern and iconic. New or classic forms with unusual combination's of materials or conversely traditional materials, from many cultures, used in a modern minimalist expression. Ancient jewelry forms reinterpreted. Clarity of form is important, "less is more". Texture is almost as important as form, and Color makes the world go 'round.... I use only the finest materials available. Sterling or fine Thai silver , or vermeil, combined with semi- precious stones, Venetian lamp work, art or vintage glass, trade beads or other natural materials. I strive to make each work unique and original. Most designs are one of a kind items, or very limited numbers of a design. Each piece is handcrafted completely by me.
