Announcing a New Feature on our AJD/Ltd. Blog to Start February 1, 2010

Dear Members,

Beginning on February 1, 2010 - February 5, we will begin a new section on this blog where we nominate artisans from different areas to be chosen as our "Featured Guest Artisan" for the second half of Feburary (15th-28th).  This person will be featured differently than our Main Page Featured Member, as they will not belong to our blog, or to our social networking page.  In fact, being someone new to us will give us an opportunity to help promote their work and make some new friends.

If you wish to nominate someone to be featured, please add a comment to this post, with the person's name, their website and/or blog, and please confirm with them that they would like to participate.

At the end of the day Februrary 5th (6:00 p.m. CDST), I will announce the person who either was nominated the most times, or who I think will have something great to contribute to our Blog.  So, check out your non-member friends who are creative, that you admire and would like to share their work with us.  I will check with the person who nominated them to make sure that the nominee will know who I am and what this is about and if they are interested, they will appear on our AJD/Ltd. blog  as a "Featured Guest Artisan".

Now don't let me down.  I am trying to get some things going on here and we can only be as good as our members!  And we have outstanding members.    We will still also have our Main Page
Featured Member on here every two weeks.  The "Featured Guest Member" will appear once a month.  So, if your choice doesn't make it the first time around, be sure to nominate them again with the reason why you think they deserve the recognition -- and it can just be that you are their best friend and know how wonderful their work is!  Or just tell me to check it out for myself!
Let's not make it too complicated.

HOPE YOU WILL PARTICIPATE.

  1. I like this very much. I would like to nominate my friend Sholeh Mesbah from Zeba on Etsy. She makes some of the most beautiful jewelry I have seen. Here's a link to her shop.

  2. I have another friend that I would like to nominate for this. Her name is Sylvia Windhurst and she has an Etsy Shop called "Windy River"
